Perhaps you’ve seen this now-viral video of a man harassing a bison this week in Yellowstone National Park. That man, Raymond Reinke of Pendleton, Oregon, was arrested Thursday in Glacier National Park.

The 55-year-old Reinke visited several national parks this week. None of those stops went very well.

The federal government’s most recent sage grouse public comment period wrapped up Thursday.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has proposed tweaking conservation plans that were hammered out back in 2015. That’s unnerved some of the people and groups who were involved in that process.

Summer’s barely a month old, but a Missoula aviation and air tanker company is already running at full tilt.

“Neptune Aviation is incredibly busy right now,” says Neptune Aviation spokesman Kevin Condit. “We’re really flying a lot of fires in a lot of different states. We’re everywhere from Colorado to California and in between. It’s been a busy fire season so far.”
